VATWorkx was founded in 2017 by a VAT advisor and an IT specialist. Our engineers work side by side with tax specialists, so the person writing the code can ask the person who knows the law, the same afternoon.

E-invoicing middleware

Your ERP, Avalara, and nothing lost in between.

Avalara E-Invoicing and Live Reporting handles the formats and the networks. The hard part is the last mile: clean data out of your ERP, and statuses, receipts and documents back in. That is the middleware we build.

    Extract

    Billing documents picked up from SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle or NetSuite as they are posted.

    Map & validate

    ERP fields mapped to UBL and EN 16931, and checked before anything leaves.

  3. 3

    Submit

    Sent to Avalara through its REST API, with OAuth, retries and idempotent submissions.

  4. 4

    Track

    Statuses followed up; rejections routed to the right team, with the reason attached.

  5. 5

    Write back

    Clearance IDs, receipts and PDF or XML files attached to the invoice in your ERP.

From the field

Avalara documents would not attach to vendor invoices in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. We built a diagnostic tool that downloads every media type Avalara offers for a document, rebuilds the file names exactly as the connector does, and shows which file type D365 rejects, and why.
